ADIYOGI TEMPLE, COIMBATORE INDIA

The adiyogi statue is a 34.3 meter tall and 112.4 feet statue of Hindu deity Shiva with white Thirunamam at Coimbatore in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu. The statue has been recognized by the Guinness World Record as the largest bust sculpture in the world. This Adiyogi statue designed by Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev, who was the founder of the Isha Foundation. It was built by the foundation and the weights around 500 tonnes which was 490 long tons and 550 short tons. This statue is inspiring and promoting yoga and is named as Adiyogi which means the first yogi because the Lord Shiva is well known as the originator of yoga.
