SRI KOTILINESHWARA TEMPLE, KARNATAKA INDIA
Sri Kotilineshwara temple is located in Kammasandra Village near in Kolar in Karnataka. Kolar is at a distance of 3 hours from Bangalore. The temple was constructed by Shri Shri Swamy Samba Shiva Murthy in 1972. The main attraction of the temple is a huge Lingam measuring 108 Ft gall at the centre if temple complex and 35 ft tall nandhi state in attendance. The Lord Nandhi is installed over a platform which is in 60 feet in length of 14 feet.The temple has one of the larger lingams in the world which I have mentioned 108 ft(33m).
